August: Hand Embroidery for Kids Ages 9-11
I am excited you are ready to register your student to create with Textiles! These exploration groups are for kids who would love to come play with threads, felt, yarn, & fabric while learning about traditional craft textile techniques.
August’s theme is Hand Embroidery! (My personal favorite!)
This listing is for ages 9-11 years.
Classes are $95 per month. This includes a $10 supply fee.
We will be meeting in the basement of Park Ave Baptist Church on Sydney Ave. in the In Creation Art Studio Collective space.
Each month will have a different textile theme to explore! Come every month or choose the textile techniques you're most interested in learning.

About Me:
I am Sarah Roberts, a professional hand embroiderer & East Atl resident with years of experience both playing with textile craft and working with kids. (I had a past life as a classroom aide, co-teacher, and in school operations.)
As a textile crafter & artist who likes process, my goal is for kids to access their creativity to make something they have invested in with a learned skill. Yet, with an accessible outcome that cultivates pride in making with your hands.
